Vintage 60s Marimekko Maija Isola Unikko 1964 Halter Mini Dress XS/S

🌸 1964 Marimekko Maija Isola Unikko poppy print halter mini dress. Maija Isola was the designer and creator of many of the gorgeous prints that made Marimekko famous in the 60s, like the one you see here, titled Unikko. The reinforced hem is a nice touch as is the elastic back. Dress is unlined. There are no tags present so there is a possibility that this is handmade from the Marimekko fabric. Due to the quality and similarities to construction of other Marimekko dresses from the era, I believe it to be original. This cutie is in excellent condition with some gentle signs of wear. Size XS/S with a 32”-34” bust, “open” waist, 36” hip, and a wee 31” length.
