    Description

    This a nice National Geographic map of the Nile Valley of Egypt focusing on the time of the Pharaohs. It covers the Theban area, Luxor, Thebes, the pyramids of Giza and other significant sites. The map also discusses Egypt and the Bible, Architecture, Sources of the Nile, and the Aswan High Dam (under construction at the time of publication, and now in the news again as Sudan seeks to build another dam upstream).
    Half of the back of the map is devoted to an article "Your Introduction to Ancient Egypt." This covers the various empires from rise to their demise.
    This would be a great resource for homeschooling, or for those that just love studying ancient Egyptian history.
